I come back to this video every now and then to reminisce. Im glad he was properly appreciated in his time, and still is by some people. Frycook Gay Games is the earliest YTP I remember seeing and it led me down a rabbit hole of a million others. It wasnt just that he got me into YTP though, it was that his own were so memorable and fun. He never overdid the edits, each one was specific and worth its own, he knew restraint. The wonder his and others' videos filled me with, whether when i watched them, showed them to others, or used them as background noise for games I played, inspired a lot of how I viewed the world and the weird ways Id try to mix and match every single insignificant thing. I hope wherever he is, he's happy and doesn't miss these days anymore. Knowing that he's moved on makes it easier for me to.

Months later he made a video discussing the origins of the downward spiral and the severe alienation he went through. The transformation between his content then and now is night and day. Making your old YTPs private doesn’t seem right. Having them be Unlisted(with comments disabled(to prevent disrespectful types from badging you to make more YTPs since you’ve found your new niche in video essays)would make better sense(do to the YTP tennis playlists being sort of incomplete with your contributions being private and all).
